Frequent trains connect Frankfurt international airport to Heidelberg main station. Frankfurt international airport has two train stations: long-distance trains (DB Fernbahnhof) and regional trains (S-Bahnhof). To travel to Heidelberg it is best to use the Fernbahnhof. The quickest connection by ICE takes about one hour and may involve changing trains either at the main station in Frankfurt or in Mannheim.

Public Transport from Heidelberg main station to New Krehl Clinic
From Heidelberg main train station, you can take the tramway lines 21 (towards Hans-Thoma-Platz) or 24 (towards Handschuhsheim), as well as the bus 32 (towards Neuenheim Kopfklinik) to the University Hospital Campus. From the main station, exit the tramway at the second stop called “Jahnstraße”. Cross the street (towards the copy shop) and you will find the bus line 32 stop called “Jahnstraße“. Exit the bus at the stop called “Medizinische Klinik“. The New Krehl Clinic building (IFN410) is directly in front of you.
